Story
Carers Trust is a UK wide charity close to Kevin’s heart. He has already raised nearly £70,000 to enable Carers Trust to support more of the UK’s 7 million unpaid carers. That’s people aged from 5 to 105 who are caring for a friend, or family member, who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.
Kevin’s challenge is located in the stunning surroundings of Sentosa Island, Singpore. Participants will start with a climb up Mount Faber, to ring the ‘bell of happiness’ at the summit. After a cable car ride to Sentosa and some lunch, we’ll head off for the “flight of our lives” – zipwiring from the jungle canopy of Imbiah Hill to the white sands of Fox Finish Point – at speeds of 60 mph.
