Bury Hospice does 'Strictly come Dancing' as 28 contestants gear up for the dance challenge of their life. Each will spend 12 weeks learning new dances to be performed in front of a live audience.

Visit the charity's profileMassive thanks to Andrew Hopkinson who on Friday 17th November hosted a birthday party and along with his fellow Super Troupers showcased their group dance. From the partygoers present who watched this performence he raised £115 which has contributed to the below offline total.

It costs £2.1million to run Bury Hospice 2016/7.
The Hospice only recieves 18% of this amount from the government.
Every donation helps the Hospice:
£12 will feed a patient for a day.
£15 will pay for a heat pad to supplement a patient's pain relief regime.
£20 will support the care of a patient in their own home for an hour.
£50 will support two bereavement sessions.
£100 will pay for two inflatable air beds so that family members can sleep next to their loved ones in their own home.
£426 will pay for one of the six beds at the Hospice for one day.
