Story
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) needs to raise £108,633 to buy a new echocardiogram machine. This device has a life-saving role in medical investigations for those with suspected heart disease or other heart related conditions.
Lauren Gilliver, from Swinton, is supporting the appeal. Last year she underwent surgery for a previously undiagnosed hole in her heart. “If my condition wasn’t found when it was I could have been a lot more ill. If this appeal is successful it will help ensure that people get access to treatment promptly like I did.”
The British Heart Foundation's aim is to ensure that everyone in the UK with cardiovascular disease has access to high-quality, integrated health and social services. Please help us provide Rotherham Hospital with this equipment by donating today.
Please note: Should we receive your donation after the Appeal target has been met, we reserve the right to spend your donation on other areas of the BHF’s life saving work.
