The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileThere are an estimated 120,000 people in the UK living with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Many are undiagnosed and will have no symptoms. But for some, like Miles Frost, it can lead to a fatal cardiac arrest at a young age.
Miles Frost died in July 2015. He was a young, fit 31-year-old in the prime of his life. Miles’s death devastated everyone who knew him. And it was made all the more painful when they were told Miles probably inherited the condition from his father, Sir David Frost.
With your support, the Miles Frost Fund aims to raise £1.5 million to implement a national genetic testing service for families affected by HCM.
It will fund genetic nurses and counsellors in inherited heart condition clinics to ensure more people receive the screening and treatment they need.
Any additional funds raised will support research to improve treatments for inherited heart conditions including HCM.
Help us end the devastation caused by this hidden killer.
