Story
Improve your health and wellbeing by welcoming in 2022 with new healthy habits, whilst raising much needed funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Starting on Boxing Day (December 26th), you'll have 37 days to cover the 100 kilometre distance (running, cycling, swimming, however you want!) and aim to raise £100 (per participant) before crossing the finish line on January 31st.

£50 could help to give a researcher 2 hours of access to a powerful microscope helping them to see what is going on inside heart and blood vessel cells.
£150 can make a difference to heart patients daily lives by providing a day of vital support from a Cardiac Nurse on our Heart Helpline. Our nurses are on call to answer patients questions and empower them to better manage their condition and treatment.
£400 could help buy human blood vessel cells, allowing researchers to study how our blood vessels work, a vital part of understanding how to diagnose and treat several heart and circulatory diseases.
£700 could buy an indispensable pipette kit for a laboratory scientist giving them the basic equipment they will need to measure out tiny volumes of liquids for experiments.
