The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileJoin Beat and hold ‘silly sock days’ across the UK – just wear silly socks to work, school or out and about to raise vital funds for Beat and raise awareness of eating disorders this Eating Disorders Awareness Week (22-28 February). It’s the perfect opportunity to encourage open and honest discussion of these serious mental illnesses.
Our telephone and email support service helps people with an eating disorder, their friends and family to understand what’s happening, how to give and get help, and how to get the treatment they need
But we struggle to meet the demand on our Helpline, and we want to make sure that every call is answered.
By supporting this year’s Sock It to Eating Disorders campaign you could help us to make a real difference to more people affected by eating disorders.
So please put on your silly socks and donate to help us raise £25,000 so we can answer an extra 1,000 calls to our helpline from someone who is desperately worried about a loved one.
