Sudden cardiac arrest is the UK’s biggest killer and does not discriminate based on age, fitness or any other factors. Everyone is at risk and it can strike anyone at any time without warning. The only way to save a life when sudden cardiac arrest strikes is using an AED.An AED or automated external defibrillator is an emergency lifesaving device for use in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. It will instruct anyone using it step-by-step, analyse the heart rhythm and, if needed,will shock the heart back into regular sinus rhythm.
Arrhythmia Alliance aims to place this lifesaving equipment in the community, for the public to use in an emergency. We need your help to raise as much as possible to make our area HeartSafe!Find out more here:
