The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileOwen was at the very beginning of what would have been a fun filled adult life. He had wanted to study computing at university. He had a wonderful temperament and sense of humour, and was loved by all his family and friends.
On 22nd April 2017, he suffered an allergic reaction to something he had eaten at lunchtime. By late afternoon the reaction had become too much for him and he sought help, but it was too late, and he passed away in front of The London Eye.
Owen was not carrying his EpiPen; had he done so, and used it early enough, it might have made a difference. His family and friends are raising money to be used towards helping young adults be even more aware of the need to carry their Epipens. The development of an Epipen that is “cool to carry” is another possibility.
Help us raise money towards this cause by donating now; it might just save a life one day
