Story
Alverbridge nursery in Gosport was set up by Shirley Faichen and Pauline Brazier 20 years ago to care for the children of Gosport.
With the help of Dawn Street and the amazing team of staff at the nursery, they have provided outstanding care, love and crucial early years education to 1600 families in Gosport.
The nursery has also provided invaluable support to these families, especially in times of need or crisis and continues to be an important part of the wider community.
Now due to the urgent need for relocation in the near future, the nursery has had to dig deep and spend the vast majority of its resources on funding a move to a larger setting in Gosport. This will enable them to continue providing outstanding care to even more children and will be a much needed asset to the new location. However as a registered charity, the nursery has always maintained the ethos of not passing on its own costs to parents and so has always kept fees as low as possible as well as providing excellent value for money compared with many other nurseries.
This ethos of not running the nursery as a for-profit business has meant that now it needs help in buying essential new equipment for its children and helping to develop an outdoor space for them to play in, exercise, develop and maximise their potential.
Please help us to keep the nursery open and able to maintain its high standards in the new location. If every one of the 1600 families whose children have benefited from attending Alverbridge over the last 20 years could donate to this fund, the nursery would be able to stay open and serve the next generation of families in Gosport. Please help to make this a reality!
