Story
On the 10th October Ian Byrne led a rallying call to the people of Liverpool to come together to save Zoe’s Place in Liverpool from closure. The campaign aimed to raise £5m within 30 days to cover the cost of a new building and to ensure that the Hospice could continue to operate. That target was met on 9th November, and we would like to formally thank everyone who contributed to the appeal.
The unbelievable support of the people and businesses of Liverpool and beyond means that our hospice in Liverpool has a great foundation to support its continued invaluable work.
But we still need your help!
Only with your continued, generous, support can we ensure that we can continue to meet the costs of caring for babies and children at the Liverpool hospice far into the future. Only a small part of our funding comes from the NHS: we must raise the rest.
That's why we need to continue to raise funds to ensure the families we (and any charity that operates the hospice in the future) support can rest assured that the hospice will be there as long as they need us. This money will go towards our local specialist team, pay for the equipment and supplies they need, and ensure the building is a warm, inviting home from home for those who need us.
Thank you,
