The Zephyr’s Charity Firewalk took place on the evening of Friday 2 February 2024 at Trent Navigation Inn in Nottingham.

27 brave and brilliant Zephyr's supporters overcame their fears to achieve something amazing. THANK YOU to everybody who took part - you are all wonderful people.

We are very grateful to 3D Group in Nottingham who very kindly sponsored the Zephyr's Firewalk Fundraiser. 3D Group are Europe's largest distributor of auto locksmith trade supplies, with a range of key blanks/blades, remotes, remote parts/cases, and locksmith tools.

Thank you as well to our generous hosts - Trent Navigation Inn - and to Steve and the team at Firewalk UK who guided the participants through the experience.

All funds raised by the fabulous fire walkers will support our core bereavement counselling service. To date the Fire Walk Fundraiser has funded at least 120 hours of counselling for bereaved parents and families. THANK YOU to everybody who took part and everybody who has so kindly donated.

Zephyr's supports parents and families in Nottingham who have experienced loss, from early gestation to the death of an older child. We are led by bereaved people, for bereaved people, providing activities including: volunteer-led peer support; specialist bereavement counselling: yoga for bereaved mums; woodworking for bereaved dads; forest school for bereaved families; gentle group wellbeing walks.

We receive no regular, statutory funding so fundraisers like this are so important to help sustain and develop our vital services and projects.
