Story
A team of NHS consultants started the story in 2005 helping Earthquake victims and then they promised themselves they would build a International System of Care. Now the Midland Doctors Medical institute sees 4000-5000 patients a month on a Zakat Charitable basis. This is also a research institution and through this Midland Doctors have unearthed an epidemic of malnutrition in children that is stunting growth, causing rickets and effecting brain development.
Midland Doctors runs a paperless clinical management system so that it is possible to follow patient care and also ensure resources are being used effectively. Internationally trained doctors come to the facility and work with local doctors to ensure care is of an excellent standard. Further, this is a unique opportunity to provide training to local doctors.
