Yusuf Youth Initiative is an organisation that creates and supports projects, providing effective solution to the needs of a vibrant and changing society. We run educational, youth development, anti-poverty, employment and health projects across Dundee.

We run 5 projects (YYI Youth Clubs, Future Leaders Academy, ChangeMakers, Engage and Taught by Muhammad) supporting over 4000 people annually through a range of services and activitiies

The building will bring together all our projects under one roof and allow for us to grow our impact across the City.

Ground Floor - Social/Community Space - a large industrial training kitchen will prepare hearty meals every for our support cafes across the City. We will also have a large open plan space for mixed uses including community functions and our daily cafe. The ground floor will also provide space for our daily foodbank and our fleet of bikes.

First Floor- 7 bright and airy classrooms with high speed internet and a large visual screen. They will support our daily after school programme. We will also have a full time nursery based on the Waldorf method of teaching

Second Floor - 4 meeting rooms/class rooms for our advanced learning programme (for young people), to run workshops, presentations and programmes for adult classes. We will also have two large open plan fitness rooms that will allow for us to run our weekly youth club and adult activities.

Third Floor - Office space for our existing projects and also a business incubator to grow opportunities for young people across the City.
