Story

The Youth Enterprise Project (YEP) is St Catherine's annual fundraising activity for secondary school and sixth form students to develop their entrepreneurial skills and have some healthy community competition, all while raising money to help support their local hospice.

This exciting fundraising project offers students the chance to learn vital real-world skills to complement their education, build their confidence and business acumen, and work creatively as a team.

Launching in January 2025, we challenge pupils from schools in the local area to turn a £50 investment into £1,500 or more over a period of 10 weeks.

NatWest Bank, who proudly sponsors the project, will help students rise to the challenge by providing them with expert business mentors and donating £50 seed money to participating schools.

Students will work together to reach their target, gaining confidence along the way ready to present their projects at the Awards Night to a judging panel of St Catherine's and NatWest senior team members. We celebrate everyone's achievements with a trophy ceremony, knowing that their efforts are making a difference to local terminally ill people in their community.
