Story

CFG is passionately committed to supporting other charitable and social purpose organisations.

We’ve been through and seen a lot since our founding in 1987, but our goal has always been consistent. To help charities’ money and resources go further, helping them drive positive impact for the people and communities that they support.

Our team works with over 6000 finance professionals, spread across ~1450 different organisations. Whether they are well established organisations with large teams, or small charities figuring it out as they go along, CFG is there to help.

We support charities in many ways, ranging from: events and training, policy and advocacy, mentoring and leadership, networking and support, understanding the basics and complexities of charity finance, staying up to date on legal and compliance matters, and so much more. Alongside this, we also provide support when charitable organisations need it the most, as seen during the pandemic, Brexit and the cost-of-living crisis.

CFG is run by a small but dedicated team, so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated as we continue our work to help the sector. Your support would mean that CFG can continue to help charitable organisations by providing the means for:

Our teams to work with the government and regulators to support the sector

Increased opportunities for training, mentoring and leadership courses

More opportunities to connect charitable organisations across the UK

Additional support through sector-influencing events
