York Hospital Radio's team of volunteers take on the Yorkshire Marathon relay to raise some much needed funds
York Hospital Radio is a voluntarily run radio station broadcasting 24 hours a day to the patients of York Hospital, and six volunteers are taking part in the Yorkshire Marathon Relay in autumn 2020 to raise some greatly needed funds. York Hospital Radio volunteers Chris Morgan, Jonny Brookes, David Bassett, Ben Huntley, Ian Clennan and Jonathan Cook have formed a relay team to take part in the Yorkshire Marathon on 17th October 2021, which will bring in essential funds to keep the patients of York Hospital entertained for many more years.
The radio station is self funded and is required to fundraise many thousands of pounds each year to stay on air, so please give generously where you can in support of the team and the station. Social distance permitting you can hopefully come to York and support team with their efforts on the day!
Thank you very much for your donation which really does help to support this fantastic cause.
Your York Hospital Radio marathon relay team,
Chris, Jonny, David, Ben, Ian and Jonathan
