Support Muddy Puddles Nursery, a Community Café & Soft Play!
We recently announced our exciting new plans to build an innovate community hub in the heart of Norwich, renovating what was previously known as the Jubilee Hall on Aylsham Road. On site work is well under way and were expecting to open in Easter 2021, but in order to turn our Community Hub fundraising plans into a reality we're asking for our supporters and the public to fundraise with us.
The community hub will be open for the local community to enjoy; offering a range of facilities with particular focus on families. This will include a day care nursery, community café and soft play centre, as well as on site pastoral support and youth clubs. The development will also see the YMCA move their offices to the site as part of a long-term commitment to the area. As a local charity, YMCA Norfolk will be investing money made from providing these services back into local community provision to reduce dependence on public funding that is becoming ever more scarce.
So far, we've had the early support of some amazing funders, namely Norwich Freemans Charity, The Lind Trust, Norfolk County Council, John Jarrold Trust, The Geoffrey Watling Charity, Anguish Educational Foundation, Garfield Weston, Charles Littlewood Hill Trust, Norwich Consolidated Charities, Paul Bassham and Bernard Sunley, to whom we owe our immense gratitude. We are now continuing our fundraising campaign and launching an appeal to the public to assist us in making this scheme a reality.
There's lots of ways you can help us reach our target; from coffee mornings and raffles to quiz nights and sleep-outs. Whichever way you choose to fundraise, you will have full support from our marketing and fundraising department who can offer branded resources and sponsorship packages. We are also welcoming fundraisers to use our Just Giving page as a crowd funder and encouraging supporters to spread the word on social media.
Every single donation counts and helps us towards reaching our target no amount is too big or too small! We are extremely thankful to each fundraiser and can't wait to show you our exciting new Community Hub!
