YMCA Cardiff Group is comprised of a registered charity and a Housing Association/registered Social Landlord and was established in the 1980s. Our aim is to make a meaningful difference, transforming the communities in which we work, so that all our beneficiaries can belong, contribute, and thrive.

We empower our service users to develop key life skills, find belonging through contributing positively to their communities and to access opportunities they would otherwise consider out of reach. We challenge traditional stereotypes and perceptions of homelessness, disadvantaged young people and marginalised communities, and believe that with the right support, each one of our beneficiaries can overcome the challenges they face and achieve their true potential.
