The XX Fund launched seven years ago, and its members have invested almost $1 million into women-led organizations striving for gender justice and equity for women and girls in Los Angeles. Since the onset of COVID, the finalist organizations have remained on the frontlines, mobilizing urgently needed services, sponsoring new state laws and protections for workers, housing, and maternal health through advocacy, and creating each-one-lift-one support systems for and by women or girls. These organizations are digging deep to confront the disproportional impacts on women or girls' education, housing, employment, mental health, reproductive health, resilience to the justice system, and safety from violence. They elevate women's leadership from within communities of color, senior women, immigrant women, teen women, and Black trans women, challenging inequity's toll on women & girls, and changing the future for all of us.

You'll receive the link to vote for ten winners where you can see 3-minute videos and descriptions about each of them. The winners will get $15,000 each, and we will all come together to celebrate the organizations at a reception at the Mayor's residence in January 2022.

Voting membership levels:

Girls age 18 and under, join for $250 (XX Juniors)

Women age 35 and under, join for $500 (Next XX)

Women age 36 and over, join for $1,000 (XX)

While voting is for women and girls only, gifts from all people in all amounts are gratefully received and encouraged. Sponsor an XX Junior, watch the videos with her, and she can cast a full vote of her own. XX Juniors are invited to introduce each of the winners at the reception at the Mayor's residence.
