Story
Can you raise £20.00 or more for Birmingham Christmas Shelter and improve somebody's Christmas?
Birmingham Christmas Shelter is opening its doors again during Christmas week 2021 to provide hot meals and drinks, entertainment, services, emergency clothing and a safe and warm place to sleep and place for those who are just lonely over the Christmas period, a time when the majority of other services in the Birmingham area are closed for the festive season.
We receive no public funding and rely completely on donations, volunteers and community fundraising. It costs us about £30k to run Shelter Week each year and 100% of the money raised goes to the charity .Like other charities, all our normal fundraising activities had to be suspended due to the pandemic so we have to double our efforts in the run up to Christmas. We therefore need your help with our Fundraising this year.
