Story

The Marathon des Sables, or MdS, is called the toughest footrace on earth by the Discovery Channel.

Competitors have to take on six marathons in six days across the scorching Sahara desert, covering over 250km, in temperatures rising to 50 degrees celcius. Day 4 is the feared Double Day when competitors run non-stop for two marathons across the dunes. The rules require you to be self-sufficient, to carry with you on your back everything except water that you need to survive.

Our aim is to raise £100,000. Please do support our intrepid and brave runners listed below.
