WSUP 5k run is to raise much needed funds to complete building works for WSUP's new home at Brookhill Road, Woolwich. The funds will be used to install a kitchen, showers, heating before WSUP can begin to deliver full range of activities again.

Visit the charity's profileWSUP is a grass-roots project that supports those seeking help in the local community. We provide practical and emotional support specifically to service users who are experiencing homelessness, vulnerable housing or are recovering from illness/addiction. The charity is 100% run by volunteers.
Once the works have completed on the new building, WSUP volunteers will be able to welcome people to Brookhill Road from June 2021, subject to lifting of Government COVID restrictions to provide:
Hot food and drinks throughout the service sessions three times a week
a warm, clean, dry place of welcome for the local Woolwich community in need of our services
Shower and laundry facilities
Space to provide access to our clothing bank so people can get a change of clean clothes
Space for conversations in private with services able to provide support such as counselling services; advice on housing; advice on benefits
Space for fun activities like singing or art projects
Space in the main hall for people to meet, talk, and spend time with others
