Visit the charity's profileWORLDwrite is an education charity with a difference. It has pioneered the UK's only Citizen TV station and uniquely, provides free film and video training to young people with whom it shoots challenging programmes. Always raising the stakes and shooting shows that question the way the world is, the charity struggles to keep its volunteer centre and studio open. At present, it is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. To continue its amazing work in 2020 it deserves your backing. The WORLDwrite centre costs £100 per day and the team of volunteers doing the Hackney 5k run, hope to raise at least £5000 which will keep the centre open for 50 days.
