We currently have two projects that need funding.

First we are looking to raise $6,000 so that we are able to purchase two new customized sets of home and away jerseys.

We are also looking to get GPS monitors for our team and the cost is around $2,500.

Essentially this helps us in major ways - all big programs use them. The main purpose is to monitor our training load and how the players are working out. If we can scientifically monitor the activity load of the athletes we can prevent help us prevent serious injuries. Also the GPS sensors have accelerometers in them where we can measure impacts, sprints, accelerations, etc.

It works with strength and conditioning to measure if our players are getting faster and more fit. It also works with the Athletic trainers to measure stress and keeps an injury log on players.

The funding of these projects will help us maintain our level of excellence and support for our scholar-athletes. Your support will provide us with the resources needed to excel and remain relevant in a highly competitive conference.
