Despite many advances, gender barriers in science careers still persist, leaving many young women without the role models to inspire them to become the STEM leaders they dream of being.

For three years, the Women in Science podcast has celebrated female scientists and STEM leaders across a diverse range of disciplines. The stories we have told so far and those we are yet to tell represent voices from across Australia and around the world, highlighting the many paths to success. So far, we have spoken to women working in marine biology, chemistry, horticulture, food science, physics, research translation and beyond.

But more importantly, we have met the remarkable women behind these careers and the challenges and opportunities they have faced along the way. Their stories emphasise the importance of forging your own path and creating your own definition of success.

With your support, the Women in Science team aims to raise $5000, which will fund further seasons of the podcast and enable us to travel to tell the stories of incredible women working around regional and rural Australia.
