Over 75,000 young people in the UK need a wheelchair to be mobile. Unfortunately, they cannot access the equipment that meets their needs through local services.

Whizz Kidz is the UK’s leading charity supporting young wheelchair users. They empower young people by providing the right equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences they need to take an active role in society, with less reliance on others. The Whizz Kidz goal is to create a movement for progress towards a more open and accessible world.

To help us raise funds we want you to take part in the “Ride of the Ruperts” 10k Winter Walk for Whizz Kidz ’25, at any time during the month of January.

As you might notice, this is a challenge that you, your families and friends can participate in wherever you may be around the world! Our sole aim is to help Whizz Kidz achieve their goals whilst ensuring our participants generally have the best time ever!

Our WW4W’s have allowed us to raise over £12k for the charity, allowing disabled young people in the UK to live their best possible lives through gained mobility, confidence.

Make sure you ask your friends and families to join in the fun with you. This is a really simple and effective concept. You simply donate £10 here to take part – and that’s it! Simply go for your walk in January.
