Pakistan Floods Appeal

The monsoon season of 2022 delivered the heaviest rainfall Pakistan has witnessed in decades. As a result, there was severe flooding all over the country, leaving one-third of Pakistan under water. Over 33 million people lost their homes, while livelihoods were also destroyed as 1 billion livestock animals drowned. Over 1,500 were reported to have died, though the official figure could be much higher. Millions of people were left sleeping under the open skies on the sides of roads, without food, clean water, or medical care. Now, millions face their harshest winter yet.
