Story

We are thankful for generous support from grant giving bodies: Veolia Environmental Trust, Sheffield City Council, JG Graves Charitable Trust, Sheffield Town Trust, The Clothworkers Foundation, Sheffield Church Burgesses, The Key Fund, Awards for All, The Bernard Sunley Foundation, Susila Dharma Britain and many individuals but we still need a little more help.

We provide a warm and welcoming community space where we can offer information, advice, a cup of tea and small group activities for young people and adults to complement what takes place in the main chapel building. We would also like to develop a community garden for the enjoyment of all.

We are on the way to finishing the renovation work so that we can honour this legacy of our founder Mary Ann Rawson who left the buildings and grounds in trust for the benefit of the neighbourhood. We will also have a permanent space to display information and artefacts relating to the area's remarkable heritage including the nearby Wincobank Iron Age Hillfort.

We need your help - this could be with a donation, by getting involved with a fund-raising event, or volunteering to give practical help when we finally are open. Follow us on Facebook . Thank you https://www.facebook.com/UpperWincobankChapel/
