Story
We have been furiously working away to raise enough money to build our new dedicated Wildlife Accident & Emergency Centre. This Centre will cater for any wildlife brought to us by members of the public.
Every year we take in more and more animals, from an ever increasing catchment area, and our facilities are stretched to breaking point.
We now have planning permission for our new building - and Phase I is concluded. We are at "foundations" stage of Phase II, and we need help.
We were caught out in Phase I as although we raised a superb amount of money, we were then informed that we needed a new sub-station for our electric, and a new septic tank and drainage system installed for the new build. All this work has been done, and we have not much to show for it, other than a few "pipes sticking up out of the ground" :) However, the groundworks are done, and we are itching to get the building up
The new building will consist of a reception area, inspection room, intensive care room, and two rehab rooms (for predator and prey species). We will also have the necessary office, toilet and small kitchen.
If we can raise this money, we can get the timber frame up, the cladding on and the roof raised! This will mean we will have the whole of the autumn and winter to get the Unit kitted out and ready for next spring's "busy season"
