Story

Wigan Bike Ride 2021

We are delighted to be back with this year's 5th Develop UK Wigan Bike Ride raising money for our organising charity Joining Jack.

https://joiningjack.org/ was launched in 2012 by Andy and Alex Johnson, the parents of a then four-year-old Jack, after he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, an incurable muscle-wasting disease for which here is currently no cure.

Jack is now 13 and to date our event, launched in 2017, has raise an incredible £105,000 for Joining Jack to help fund vital research into Duchenne. This has included three fantastic live events and last year's FIRST EVER Virtual Ride which featured riders from all over the world.

Every penny of profit from our event goes to Joining Jack to help find treatments and the hope of, one day, a cure for ALL boys living with Duchenne.

Thank you to our amazing JJ army who have brought us this far making great strides towards the end goal of ending this horrific disease.
