Story

The West Ham United Foundation team are taking on the London Marathon on Sunday 21st April 2024.

The team will be running 26.2 miles through the heart of London, all whilst raising funds for the West Ham United Foundation, the football club's award-winning charity.

About the Foundation:

We use the power of football to change the lives of people living in the communities of East London and Essex. We reach 50,000 people a year with our health initiatives; mentoring, education and employment opportunities; programmes for children and youths; and opportunities on and off the pitch.

You can find out more about what we do at: https://www.whufc.com/club/community/foundation

Meet the team:

We are so thrilled to have West Ham United's very own Men's First Team Assistant Coach as well as a Corporate Patron Champion in our trailblazing team!

Our Hammers Heroes are:

Callum Foster & Aundre Barrow (Paragon)

Working around the players and seeing what they do for the Foundation makes you realise how much of an impact a Football team can have on the community and local areas, so to be able to represent the Foundation that facilitates this will be a pleasure. - Callum Foster

I'm looking forward in taking this on for the main fact its for a wonderful cause! - Aundre Barrow
