The Bike Project's Virtual Pub Quiz

Organised by The Bike Project

Clare Balding is our latest host for a night of trivia and quizzing! We are hosting our Virtual Pub Quizzes to raise much needed fun to continue the work of The Bike Project, delivering refurbished bikes to refugees in need.

Story

We're at home, with all our normal ways of entertaining ourselves on a Saturday night on pause. But at The Bike Project we're not going to let that stop us having a good time!

Clare Balding is your Quiz Masters extraordinaire, taking you through a night of sports knowledge, bike-related trivia and an interactive random challenge to win bonus points .

But most exciting of all is our prize draw. By making a donation of any size on this page, you will be entered into the prize draw to win a Magnum of Moet & Chandon Champagne (and Bike Project swag!)

How does your money help?

Refugees and asylum seekers need bikes now more than ever, so to keep our wheels turning, and get more refugees cycling, we're asking you to dig deep and give what you can.

A £10 donation is enough to hire a van and driver to deliver a desperately-needed bike to a refugee in London or Birmingham.

Behind closed doors, our mechanics are working ever harder to refurbish our stockpile of clapped-out bikes so that we can carry on getting refugees cycling.

A donation of £50 pays for a bike for a young refugee, and a donation of £100 will get an adult refugee a bike. This includes all the safety gear they need.

At this very uncertain time, bikes can help all of us get out and feel like we still have some modicum of freedom.

This is true no more so than for refugees who are among the most hurt by the closure of charity and community services.

We refurbish second-hand bikes and donate them to refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK. With some refugees surviving on as little as £8.86 per week, a bike serves as a vital tool to access essentials like food, healthcare and legal advice, build confidence and form part of a community.
