Cerebral Palsy Midlands, have a new date for this year's Wheel 'n' Walk sponsored walk together with Cerebral Palsy Midlands, Birmingham PHAB Camps and Sociability Care Noahs Star Sunday 7th April. This is a big community event where we three charities come together united to walk for disability. We had approximately 300 people walking around Cannon Hill Park last year. People with disability their clients, carers, friends and families.
Development Officer Sarah Lilly says:
This will be a wonderful and empowering event and so great to see us altogether campaigning for disability with our clients accessing their local community as well. This years theme will be Hawaiian Beach and Tiki themed so come sporting your flowery, bright and colourful shirts. If its not so warm nearer the time you may wish to wear woolly hats. the main thing is that we will all be together walking around the park proud for disability.
The event will be at Cannon Hill Park once again with support from ELM's Music Group and Freewheelin Dance for our warm up. We will be meeting at 'The Bandstand' at Cannon Hill park at 11am Sunday 7th April 2019 and car parking will once again be available at N.I.C.E National Institute for Conductive Education on Russel Road.
