Story

Lockdown, PPE and visitor restrictions didnt stop us. We kept on caring because our supporters cared too.

But there is one thing that could stop us now. With less income from our shops and many fundraising events cancelled this year, we already have £2m less coming in each month than we need to keep running at full capacity.

We are now in a second national lockdown; every week our shops are closed we lose an additional £500,000.

Clearly a drop in funding on this scale is unsustainable. As the second wave of the virus gains traction, we are gravely concerned for the future financial stability of the organisation. Without urgent funding we, like many other hospices, may be forced to close services.

Weve never seen a Christmas like the one were facing. Its not just the masks and protection were wearing. Or the visitor restrictions at our hospices. Its the fact so many more people are likely to need our care this winter.

Please help us keep caring. Just £21 could pay for an hour of specialist, comforting care someone needs at the end of their life.
