Help TLC keep kick-off on the pitch!
During the 2022 FIFA World Cup, TLC: Talk, Listen, Change is asking for your help to tackle domestic abuse in the Northwest. Police received over 13 hundred reports of domestic abuse linked to the previous World Cup. Research has found that incidents increase by 24% when England win or draw in a World Cup game, and by 38% when they lose.
We believe everyone deserves safe, healthy and happy relationships free from violence. TLC is one of few charities in the UK that works with people who harm as well as people who have been harmed to tackle the root cause of domestic abuse.
We need your help to raise funds and keep our vital services going.
£5 could help us provide information and relevant support to a caller over the phone who is looking for help dealing with their relationship.
£50 will pay for one session of counselling for a child or young person who has been a witness to domestic abuse in the home
£100 could pay for arts and crafts supplies to use in the youth work groups of children who are showing negative behaviours in their relationships

Here is some inspiration for your fundraising challenge:
- Do 30 keepy-ups for every day the FIFA World Cup is on
- Do 30 keepy-ups in a row but don't use a ball
- Hold a sweepstake with your family and friends guessing on how many keepy-ups you can do during half time
- Have a competition with your friends or teammates on who can do the most keepy-ups
The TLC Fundraising Team are here to help you with all your fundraising activities. Don't forget to use the hashtag #whatscominghome on all your social media!
