Story
Walk for A Cure is back for 2019! This campaign was started in memory of Adrian Cure ,by his wife and brother-in-law, who raised over £30,000 by walking after he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Sadly, Adrian lost his battle with kidney cancer in 2011 but his memory lives on in Walk for A Cure.
Our mission at Kidney Cancer UK and Kidney Cancer Scotland is to provide support to those affected by kidney cancer and to fight to find a cure for this devastating disease. But, we cannot do it without your help. This May we want you to join us and help us smash our £10,000 target! You can challenge yourself to walk the West Highland Way, go hiking with friends, take part in fun runs with your family, walk to and from work or organise your own catwalk. Whatever you raise will go towards vital research into the causes, prevention and treatment of kidney cancer and allow us to continue to make a difference to people like Adrian Cure.
Let's do this!
