As Wetwheels Yorkshire enters her fifth season delivering safe, stimulating and fun adventures to the disabled people of the North East Coast we could never have imagined how busy we have been. We will soon have surpassed an amazing 5,000 participants, working with over 100 partner organisations, since launch in June 2018.

The time has come to look to the future and we aim to renew our engines in early 2023, in preparation for season 6. These engines, even with the amazing support of Suzuki Marine, will cost in excess of £35,000 to replace.

"We had an amazing day - we would never have dreamed we could take our daughters on a boat due to the nature of their disabilities, so it was a really special thing to do. They absolutely loved it, and it was great to see their smiling faces! One of them did have an episode on the boat, but our skipper totally put us at ease - he was so calm and understanding and made it clear that we were in control and could turn back at any point and go at our own pace.
