Here at Wentworth PTA we believe strongly in the quote above and therefore are currently raising funds to give the current school library a much needed re-vamp. This will be floor to ceiling and everything in between! We hope to incorporate different reading zones, imagination zones, teaching zones as well as quiet areas. The whole layout will be inviting for all children and we hope it will be become the heart of the school.

We are always so grateful for the generous support we receive for our events as you are aware every penny we raise goes directly into benefitting the pupils and the school as a whole.

So the fun bit! We challenge you as an individual, family or friendship group to raise £20.22 by the 5th June 2022, to tie in with the Queens Platinum Jubilee. We would love you to do this through sponsorship by incorporating the number 22! You have free reign to be as creative as you would like you also have the whole of this half-term to complete the challenge!

Perhaps you could read 22 books, write 22 poems, run 22 miles, bake 22 cakes, do 22 star jumps a day for 22 days! The possibilities are endless we cannot wait to see what you come up with and most importantly we want you to have fun! Get your family, friends, dogs, hamsters everyone involved to help you!

Now the important bits! Please do not worry if you cannot raise £20.22, feel free to partner up as mentioned before but ANY donation is honestly so gratefully received even if you would rather sponsor one of your friends for one of their challenges! Equally there is not a limit of how much you can raise!

ALL entrants will receive a certificate and Mrs Dack will be choosing her favourite, most creative challenges to speak about in assembly.

All moneys raised ideally to be paid in via Just Giving in order for us to claim any gift aid on the donations which is invaluable. All donations to be paid in by Friday 10th June please.
