An Appeal to Support the Wedding Seva of Bibi Babanpreet Kaur, Daughter of Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Babbar Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Babbar, deeply moved by the 1984 attack on Sri Darbar Sahib, joined the Babbar Khalsa Movement in 1986 to defend Sikhi and fight for justice. He attained martyrdom during a three-day clash with CRPF and police forces near Karar and Damodar in Gurdaspur. His sacrifice left his young family without a father and a provider. In his absence, the family faced immense hardships. Poor and struggling to cope, they did their best to support one another. Today, his granddaughter, Bibi Babanpreet Kaur, is preparing for her wedding. Her father, Harpreet Singh, has worked tirelessly but faced additional challenges when his wife’s deteriorating mental health required her care to be entrusted to his sister.
