Our Wear Red campaign is back for 2024 and we need your support to make it the biggest and best yet!

We are calling on schools, businesses, community groups and individuals to #WearRed on Friday the 2nd February, and donate £1 to Velindre. By wearing red you’ll be showing your support for our National Rugby Teams ahead of the 6 Nations and raising vital funds for Velindre – Wales’ largest cancer centre.

It’s so easy to get involved in this campaign and support the vital work at Velindre Cancer Centre. Simply Wear Red and donate £1. It really is that easy to make a big difference.

But why stop there? If you want to do more, you could host a red themed event such as a cake sale, quiz night or workout. Every pound you raise will help to provide hope for more cancer patients in Wales and raise awareness for the work that we do.

Funds raised from this campaign really do make a huge difference at Velindre. It allows us to fund projects and services that are fundamental to improving our patients experience such as our specialist cancer nurses, psychology services and complimentary therapies. It enables us to offer complex treatment pathways, earlier access to cutting edge treatments, research into new treatments, purchase specialist equipment and so much more.
