Story
All children deserve the best chance in life but it can be challenging for those born with special needs to get the help they need. The Peter Pan Centre helps children to make rapid progress in core life skills and learning and helps children to develop independence, have new experiences and make new friends. Parent carers are supported to meet their child's needs in the home and much needed respite is provided. The Peter Pan Centre carefully nurtures each of their children, supporting them and their families through their earliest years in preparation for their next steps in life.
Many people assume we receive government funding when the reality is we have to fundraise to keep our doors open. Without your support of campaigns such as this Wear it Purple Day on Valentine's Day, we wouldn't have been able to give so many local children the best start in life since we first opened as a playgroup in 1969.
The magic and wonder that goes on behind the doors of the Peter Pan Centre is nothing short of a miracle.
