Story
What is your fondest childhood memory? Making new friends, running free, screaming as loud as you want, playing outside with the neighborhood kids, discovering something new? We know how important these moments are to you and the youth we serve.
Camp Fire Columbia has been the stomping ground for playful exploration since 1910 and has served thousands of children and youth for the last 97 years at Camp Namanu and over twenty years in partnership with schools through our high-quality child care services, and teen mentorship programs.
This year, due to COVID-19, we were faced with the first-ever cancellation of summer camp and before and after school programming, drastically shifting how we show up for our youth. Due to cancelled programming and loss of revenue we are facing a $110K deficit that hurts our ability to support youth with distance learning, mentorship, and the transformative experience of Camp Namanu resident camp. We want to keep the Camp Fire spark shining bright but we need your help.
Please help by making a gift to keep our youth connected and on the path to success when they need it most! You can also support us by starting a personal fundraiser and asking ten people to chip in and give to Camp Fire Columbia!
