Organised by The Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Charity17th November marks World Prematurity Day, which aims to raise awareness of preterm babies and their families. 1 in 10 babies are born prematurely, equating to around 15 million a year worldwide! Wear purple and support our NICU and SCBU Services.

To recognise this day, our NICU (L&D) and SCBU (Bedford) Teams will hold their annual Purple Parties, where they decorate the unit with all things purple and give out cakes to staff and patients to boost some morale across the units. All money raised will benefit the Parents Accommodations. You can take part by dressing in purple and donating £1 to this JustGiving page!
