The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileAge UK Solihull is once again teaming up with the Solihull Safeguarding Adults Team to raise awareness and funds this World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, which is on Saturday 15 June 2024.
We are inviting you to wear purple (a symbol colour for dignity) or organise purple themed events and make a donation to Age UK Solihull to help continue our work with vulnerable older people, and in particular to be the voice for those who are victims of abuse. You can wear or do something purple on Saturday 15 June, or another day that week if it suits you better.
Please upload photos of you or your group/family wearing purple to Twitter using the hashtag #WEAAD2024. We can't wait to see them!
