Story
Not looking forward to the long summer school holidays? Working too hard and need an escape? Summer holidays can pose all kinds of problems when you are grieving whether you have children or not. So WAY want to give you something else to think about - a wonderful distraction! And of course we would REALLY appreciate your time and effort!
Take on a fundraising challenge of your own making - whether it’s sporty, crafty, adventurous or something you can do from home. How about setting a distance to walk, cycle or swim every day, do couch to 5k, get the kids to do chores, a campout or have a friends and family quiz night, have a neighbourly car wash day or a bake sale, take part in an organised challenge or devise something super weird and wonderful yourself. Choose more than one thing! Anything goes (within safety and decency limits!).
Whatever you decide to do, you can set up a fundraising page by clicking the orange button and share share share with friends, family, colleagues and groups. Whether you are raising a few pounds to a few thousand pounds, it will all count towards helping WAY to keep helping all our members as well as helping bereaved people find us.
There will be medals for those who raise more than £50 - and maybe some other prizes too :)
You can take part as yourself or as a family or friend group. Events should take place through or within August preferably. Safety first! Always plan ahead. Go crazy and dream up a super unusual idea - or just challenge yourself to do your usual thing - but bigger!
