Story
Wave for Change is all about encouraging and enabling mixed-ability friendships. We want to see more people with and without learning disabilities mixing in the heart of their communities, enjoying doing things #WithNotFor each other, growing in confidence and friendship.
The Captain Tom 100 Challenge is a great chance to reconnect with a friend or two, set yourselves a fun 100 challenge and raise funds for Wave.
So let's get started!
1) Choose your 100 Challenge activity. Maybe you could do 100 press-ups or dance together for 100 minutes. Or make a collage with 100 items in it. Or maybe you'd prefer to do 100 of something on your own, like cycling 100 times around Ally Pally or swimming 100 lengths of the pool. It can be any activity you choose.
2) Click on the "Start Fundraising" button at the top of this page and set up your fundraiser. Don't forget to tell your friends and family all about it, so they can cheer you on and help you reach your fundraising goal! If you prefer not to have your own page, feel free to do your challenge and ask your supporters to donate via this page.
3) Do your 100 Challenge activity anytime between 30th April and 3rd May, or even longer. Some challenges are running for 100 days. It's up to you!
Whatever challenge you choose, we'd love for you to share it with us on social media using #CaptainTom100 and #WithNotFor
The funds you raise will help Wave enable more genuinely inclusive groups where people with and without learning disabilities can connect and have fun doing things #WithNotFor each other.
