Story
Water Can is a collective of five international water charities providing access to safe water, improved sanitation and good hygiene (WASH).
We work in some of the most remote communities in the world; where our work has the most impact. We are Dig Deep, Frank Water, Just a Drop, Pump Aid and Village Water. By working together, we can achieve more.
To transform lives in remote communities, Water Can.
In collaboration with SUP Bristol, we are delighted to announce our first SUP series, taking place in London in May 2022. This is a great opportunity for team building and friendly competition with a purpose.
With up to 30 teams taking part in each event, WaterCan's SUP series is a brilliant opportunity to spend quality time safely outdoors with colleagues and friends. After a long 2 years, we can't wait to get out on the water with you and have fun!
SUP suits people of all ages and abilities and is easy to pick up. There's no equipment or experience needed. Each team will get a free coaching session ahead of the event to get you ready to compete on the day.
Come in your best fancy dress and paddle as fast as you can to the finish line - there are prizes to be won for first, second and third-placed teams as well as best costumes - so get creative!
It costs £200 to register (per team of four) and we're asking every team to raise a further £250 in sponsorship. All funds raised will help fulfil our vision of providing every community with safe, clean water. As soon as you register your team, you'll receive details of how to book your training session, set up your fundraising page and start raising money!
Donations are collected through Just a Drop and then distributed between the three Water Can organisations taking part in this event: Just a Drop, Village Water and Frank Water.
