Water4Hussain is dedicated to providing services honouring the legacy of Hussain through Water. We believe that through providing free clean water and spreading awareness, we can inspire others to uphold the values of justice, compassion, and freedom. The events that transpired in Karbala (680 CE or 61AH) witnessed Hussain and his companions endure extreme thirst and hunger in exchange of remaining protecting their values and ultimately relinquishing their lives. Hussain adhered to the principles of impartiality, benevolence, and freedom, whereas Yazid continued his oppressive measures and disregard for human rights

Water4Hussain will initially distribute free water bottles during Ashura and Arbaeen time (days associated to Hussain in the Islamic calendar) along with educational material to highlight the values of Hussain and his companions. These campaigns will be managed by Islamic Centres across the UK. All resources will be provided by Water4Hussain including 1000 water bottles

Following that we plan to collect donations through fundraising. Money will be spent in providing clean water in deprived cities of the world. This could be via distribution of clean water, installing water hand pumps, installing mini filtration plants and more
