Story

Rebecca Bell, Kirsty Randell, Suzi Vogt and Kim Varey, members of staff from Airedale NHS Foundation Trusts Childrens Unit, will be taking on the Inca trail trek to Machu Picchu in Peru from 6-15 October 2023. It will involve a 46km trek over four days at an altitude of over 4,000m.

Our team is aiming to raise £5,000 to improve the outdoor spaces of Airedales childrens unit for patients and families to enjoy while they are in hospital.

All funds raised will be donated to Airedale Hospital and Community Charity (the official NHS charity for Airedale NHS Foundation Trust) for use by the childrens unit. Any funds remaining will go to the charitys ABC (Airedale Baby & Child) fund to continue to be used for the benefit of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, its patients, and employees.
