Story
Every day, Tim* walks anything from 12 to 20 miles a day. Tim is rough sleeping. He beds down away from the city centre, where it's quieter and safer.
Each morning, Tim walks into the city to go to the local day centre for breakfast. He wanders the streets in search of some spare change, before heading to another service for lunch.
After lunch, Tim might be able to go to a friend's house to grab a couple of hours sleep on his sofa. He'll then head back into town to the local soup kitchen for dinner. At the end of the day, Tim heads back to his sleeping spot in the suburbs.
Many of the homeless people we support walk several miles every day. With no money, there's little choice.
Can you provide hope for someone who is homeless this August? Walk 26 miles in a day, a week, or a month. And change a life of someone affected by homelessness in West Yorkshire.
